Terminator Salvation - Spider

During my spare time at Grin, I used some old assets (they are not used in the final version of the game anymore) to make a picture rendered in Maya with Mental Ray.



The sewer environment is from Simon Besombes, the robot is from Mattias Magito. The water has been added in Maya.

Kumacy - One Piece

I really like character designs from Eiichiro Oda, specially Kumacy, a big-zombie-teddy-bear with short arms who looks so ridiculous. I wanted to make a 3d version of it, using Mudbox, Maya and Photoshop.

Still alone?

Alone has been released 1 month ago. The game mostly had average or bad marks from the press, but we received a bunch of good comments about environments and lighting. However, lots of players loved the game, in spite of all its defaults.

Grinner !

For those who are interested in what I became during this long time (I know there are some... please... tell me you're interested ^^), I'm now working at Grin Stockholm as a Lighting and Special Effects artist!

Some new photos

Since I'm in "kind of" vacation before going to work at Grin Stockholm, I found the time to work on several photographs I took this month.

PS: Depending on the screens, the photos have different colors. They may be too "greenish" sometimes... I really need to calibrate my notebook screen!

Alone in the Dark - 2007/2008

I'm now working since April 2007 at Eden Games Lyon, as a 3d/lighting/environment artist on different sequences of the game Alone in the Dark. My favorite part of my job is creating and lighting backgrounds, but I also works on generic objects like weapons, and real-time cinematics lighting.

Since the game isn't released yet, I can't post another screenshots or trailers that the ones that have been given to the press for the moment.

Low Poly Background (WIP)


A little background I began for the lessons I gave to ArtFX School, on video games backgrounds modeling and texturing. The aim was to teach how to create normal maps, and how to optimize memory in video game, creating small tiling textures, then adding dirt maps on different UV set, or using patches and decals.
